Turmeric, a humble spice that finds a permanent place in our kitchens is a popular skin ingredient with some miraculous benefits. You would have probably heard of its skin brightening properties and how effectively it reduces pigmentation. * Turmeric Face Mask For Oily Skin
Mix 1 tbsp. gram flour, a pinch of turmeric and 1 tbsp. yogurt to make a paste. Apply it on the face for 20 minutes or till it is dry and rinse off with plain water. Follow with a moisturizer.
This face mask is great for combination to oily skin as gram flour helps to control excess oil while yogurt gently exfoliates and moisturizes the skin. You can also add a tbsp. milk to this mask instead of yogurt and a tbsp. honey if you are looking for extra hydration. This mask can be used thrice a week for best results.
* Turmeric Face Mask For Dry Skin
Mix 1 tbsp. milk cream (malai) and a pinch of turmeric to make a smooth paste. Apply it on the skin for 15-20 minutes and rinse with warm water. If you have dry skin that doesn’t break out then this mask can be used thrice a week for best results. It is the perfect mask for winters when the skin is terribly parched and needs extra hydration to look good.
* Anti Aging Turmeric Face Mask
Mix 1 tbsp. yogurt, 1 tbsp. honey and a pinch of turmeric to form a thick paste. Apply as a facemask and leave for 20 minutes. Rinse with plain water.
All three ingredients used in this recipe have excellent anti-aging properties and reduce the appearance of fine lines. When used regularly, this face mask shows visible improvement in the skin in two weeks. However, you have to regularly use it thrice a week for at least two weeks along with a proper skincare routine which includes CTM, exfoliation, and regular use of hydrating creams twice a day to see a noticeable difference in your skin.

Break open an egg and separate the white from the yolk. Add a pinch of turmeric to this egg white and mix well. Spread this mixture on the face and allow it to dry. Rinse well!

* Soothing Turmeric Face Mask
Take half a cucumber and mash it to form a pulp. Add a pinch of turmeric and mix well. Apply it on the face and spread well. Relax and listen to some music while this mask works its magic on your skin. Wash after 20 minutes and be amazed at how refreshed your skin looks. Ideal for summers!
