Get Rid Of Eye Irritation And Fatigue With These Easy Home Remedies

Running the mobile for long hours or working in front of the computer for hours in the office causes many problems in the eyes. External pollution and dust and mud also sometimes cause problems of itching, dryness and irritation in the eyes. Eyes are very delicate part of our body. If you feel more irritation in the eyes or have problems related to eyesight, a doctor should be seen immediately. Some home remedies can be adopted to relieve fatigue and irritation caused by work. By doing these remedies, the eyes are relaxed and the irritation is reduced. Let's know about these remedies.
Cold Water-
If your eyes are experiencing more fatigue or irritation due to work, then splash your eyes with cold water. Apart from this, you can apply ice in a cotton cloth and apply it on the eyes for a while with light hands. It will also provide relief in pain and mild swelling.
Green tea bags-
Green tea bags can be useful for removing eye irritation. Green tea has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, which are effective in removing redness and swelling of your eyes. For this, keep the tea bag in hot water for some time. Then remove the tea bag from the water and keep it in the fridge. Keep these tea bags on your eyes when it gets cold. You can do this remedy once or twice a day.
Cucumber-
Cucumber makes your eyes cool. Grate the cucumber or cut the slices and keep it on the eyes. This will relieve fatigue of your eyes. Cucumbers also have anti-irritation properties, which give you relief from itching of the eyes.
Green vegetables-
Lack of nutrition in the body can also cause problems in the eyes. For this, you include green vegetables in your food. You mix carrots and spinach together and drink its juice. This will reduce your eye irritation.
Adjust the lighting-
When watching television, it may be easier on your eyes if you keep the room softly lit. When reading printed materials or doing close work, try to position the light source behind you and direct the light onto your page or task. If you're reading at a desk, use a shaded light positioned in front of you. The shade will keep light from shining directly into your eyes.
Limit screen time-
This is especially important for children, who may not make the connection between extended viewing, eyestrain and the need to rest their eyes regularly.
Improve the air quality of your space-
Some changes that may help prevent dry eyes include using a humidifier, adjusting the thermostat to reduce blowing air and avoiding smoke. If you smoke, consider quitting. Moving your chair to a different area may help reduce the amount of dry moving air on your eyes and face.
Choose the right eyewear for you-
If you need glasses or contacts and work at a computer, consider investing in glasses or contact lenses designed specifically for computer work. Ask your optometrist about lens coatings and tints that might help too.
