Dandruff, a widespread scalp issue, manifests as an itchy scalp and flaky skin due to the excessive shedding of dead skin cells. This post unveils highly effective Ayurvedic treatments tailored for dandruff removal. Much like the skin on our body, the scalp also naturally sheds dead skin cells. However, when this shedding escalates, it triggers incessant itching and unpleasant odors.
While an array of anti-dandruff shampoos floods the market, many are laden with chemicals that, in the long run, can harm our hair. According to Ayurveda, dandruff occurs due to imbalances in the Vata and Kapha doshas within the body. The dryness of the scalp, stemming from an aggravated Vata dosha, contributes to dandruff. Conversely, excessive oiliness, a consequence of an aggravated Kapha dosha, can also lead to the formation of dandruff.
