Mango is favorite among people of all age groups. While mango is considered to be the king of fruits and is a delicious summer delight, it is also a great solution to a number of summer skin problems.
Mango, along with a couple of other ingredients from your kitchen can be very helpful in maintaining soft skin during the sweltering summer days. Here are a couple of recipes to make the perfect homemade face pack for great skin.

Oatmeal and Mango

Mix the pulp of 1 ripe mango, 7-8 ground almonds, 3 teaspoons of oatmeal and 2 teaspoons of raw milk to make this face pack. Apply it on clean skin. Scrub it off after 15 minutes and wash your face with cold water. This face pack is packed with natural exfoliators like oatmeal and almonds. Mango also works to hydrate and nourish the skin and gives it a natural glow.

Mango and Honey

If you want smooth and even toned skin this summer, this face pack can work like magic. This face pack is not only easy to whip up, it also works very well for all skin types, even acne-prone ones. You need pulp of ½ fresh mango, 1 teaspoon of honey, and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice. Mix the ingredients together and apply a thin layer of the paste on clean face. Leave it on for 20 minutes and rinse off with cold water. This face pack is rich in antioxidants which keeps skin naturally glowing.

Fuller’s Earth and Mango

You can make this face pack using pulp of 1 ripe mango, 3 teaspoons of fuller’s earth, 2 teaspoon of water and 1 teaspoon of curd. Whip up the ingredients adding little amounts of water to achieve the desired consistency. Apply the paste to clean face and leave it on for 20 minutes. Wash it off with cold water. Fuller’s earth naturally lightens the skin tone helping remove tan, while mango hydrates the skin. This face pack works very well for patchy and dehydrated skin.

Besan and Mango

For ages together, besan has been used as a natural skin cleanser. Combining mango and besan together you get a great solution to the summer tanning. For this face pack, take the pulp of 1 ripe mango, 4 teaspoon of besan, 1 ground walnut and 1 teaspoon of honey. Mix the ingredients well to make a paste of thick consistency. Apply the paste of clean face and leave it on for 15 minutes. Gently scrub it off your face in circular motion after 15 minutes. Rinse it off with cold water. Besan, walnut and mango work very well in exfoliating your skin and removing the tan. Honey contains antioxidants and moisturizing properties which keep your skin looking youthful and nourished.

Avocado and Mango

For this face pack you need 1 teaspoon of mango pulp, 2 teaspoon of pureed avocado and 1 teaspoon of coconut oil. Mix these ingredients together and whip it into a smooth paste. Apply this paste on to clean face in a circular motion. Leave it on for 15-20 minutes. Rinse it off with cool water. This is a great face pack if you are experiencing signs of pre-mature aging.
