Get Rid of Grey Hair With This Magical Ingredient

We all know that ageing is inevitable, and so is grey hair! It’s ok to have a salt and pepper look post 50’s. But, in the present times, even adolescents are badgered with a premature greying problem. Fortunately, there is Amla to our rescue! Using Amla powder for grey hair is prescribed long back in the ancient science of Ayurveda.

Amla is also called Indian gooseberry, Usirikaya (Telugu) or Nellikai in Tamil. This sour and tangy fruit is widely grown in tropical countries. It is known for numerous medicinal and cosmetic benefits, particularly for hair related problems. In this article, we shall learn how to use Amla in different forms for grey hair.

* Amla and Fenugreek Mask

Amla Powder – 2 tbsp
Fenugreek Powder – 1 tbsp
Coconut Oil – 3 tbsp

Method


- Heat some coconut oil in a pan.
- Add Amla powder and Methi powder.
- Turn off the heat and let the mixture cool down.
- Section your hair and apply the mask on scalp.
- Massage well and leave it overnight.

* Amla Paste and Lemon Juice

Amla Paste – 2 tbsp
Almond Oil – 1 tbsp
Lemon Juice – few drops

Method

- Make a paste out of fresh Amla pieces.
- Add almond oil and few drops of lemon juice.
-Apply it all over the hair.
- Leave it on for an hour.
-Wash thoroughly with a mild shampoo.

* Amla and Eucalyptus Oil Hair Pack

Amla Powder – 1 Cup
Tea Decoction – ½ Cup
Eucalyptus Oil – Few drops

Method

- In an iron vessel, mix all the ingredients.
- Add water to form a smooth paste.
- Leave it overnight for more effectiveness.
- Next morning, apply this Amla dye all over the scalp and hair.
- Leave it for 2 hours.
- Wash with water.

* Amla Oil


Amla – 3-4 big sized fruits
Coconut Oil – 3 tbsp

Method

- Cut the Amla fruits into slices and discard the seed inside them.
- Now grate these pieces to extract fresh juice.
- Slightly warm the coconut oil and add this juice.
- Leave it for 3 hours for complete infusion.
- Store it in a glass jar.
- Use it as required.
