Reason for having a mole

Before removing a mole from the face, know what is the reason for having a mole. When the skin cells gather in one place instead of spreading, mole is formed at that place in the skin. Melanites cells do the work of making melanin pigments in the skin, when these cells accumulate at one place of the skin, it becomes mole. Sometimes mole is also genetic. Staying in the sun for a long time also produces mole.

# Garlic

Some people believe that applying garlic to a mole for a period of time will cause it to diminish or disappear entirely. This is because garlic contains enzymes which may dissolve the cell clusters that cause the mole. Garlic can cause skin burns.

# Apple cider vinegar

Apple cider vinegar is one of the most commonly used ingredients to get rid of moles. Malic and tartaric - the acids found in the vinegar can actually dissolve the mole and eventually remove moles from the skin. All you need to do is take a cotton pad and apply some apple cider vinegar to it. Now, clean the mole with the cotton pad and leave it over the mole for an hour. Repeat this for two weeks to get rid of the mole.

# Castor oil baking soda mix

Mixing castor oil and baking soda together creates an ointment that may remove moles if applied for several weeks. The theory behind this is that the baking soda dries out the mole and the castor oil helps protect the skin.

# Pineapple juice

Pineapple juice is known to kill bacteria, hence it is used extensively in many skin creams. Simply take some pineapple juice and mix it with some sea salt (to make a good scrub). Now apply the mixture over the mole and start to scrub. Scrub the area for fifteen minutes to remove the top layer of the mole. Use this scrub for a week for best results.

# Oregano oil

Oregano essential oil can be harsh on the skin and must be diluted with a carrier oil, such as castor oil. When applied a few times a day for several weeks, the combination of oils may help remove a mole.

# Aloe vera

Aloe vera is a wondrous plant that not only heals the skin but also has antibacterial properties. Apply aloe vera pulp to the mole to get rid of it. Though it's a slow process, it's definitely the safest. Just clean the mole first and apply some aloe gel to it. Now, cover the area with a bandage and leave it to dry for a two hours.

# Iodine

Using a specific concentration of iodine for several weeks may cause a mole to flake off. Iodine can burn, so apply petroleum jelly around the surrounding area to protect the skin. Iodine is toxic, so take great care when using it. Never apply to skin that is broken.

# Lemon juice

Using lemon juice several times a day may bleach the mole, making it less obvious.

# Tea tree oil

Tea tree essential oil is a well-researched essential oil best known for its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. Some people claim that applying tea tree oil several times a day for a period will cause the mole to disappear. Take care when using tea tree oil as it is potent and toxic if swallowed.

# Potatoes

Potatoes are thought to have a natural bleaching effect. Though the potato may not fully remove the mole, it may help to fade it away over time.

# Flaxseed oil

Some studies indicate flaxseed oil contains properties that help heal cuts and other lacerations. People also use it to help get rid of dark spots and blemishes, including moles.
