Priya Malik, who had participated and was one of the finalists in the Big Brother Australia, 2014, shot to fame with her stint in Bigg Boss 9 (who entered as a wild card contestant). This leggy lass was one of the most popular contestants in the Bigg Boss house and was best known for her comedy on Salman Khan’s show. This beauty with brains was audience’s favourite, as she drove all the contestants up the wall with her bizarre ways. Priya, who went to study at Uni SA, was a teacher at an Australian college before making her way to the show.
This lady is now seen in a new show titled Bigg Boss Ka Bigg Buzz, which airs only on Voot, every Monday. From which contestant is trending to what do fans and contestants from previous seasons think about the contestants of this season to crazy tweets, bang on predictions and sassy comments, all sorts of entertainment will be brought to your living room by Priya Malik and YouTuber Sahil Khattar. In an exclusive interview with India.com, Priya Malik speaks about her new show Bigg Buzz and enlightens the ardent BB fans with the reality of the controversial reality TV show.
The biggest strategy that you can have on the show like Bigg Boss is to be your real self. If your personality is strong enough and if you are a person, who can actually make your presence felt, you will stay on the show. A lot of people think that for a show like Bigg Boss, you’re required to start the show by fighting with people. No! You’re required to fight for yourself and that is the biggest strategy you can have.
For anyone, who knows how a reality TV show works, should know that editing plays a huge part. But no, the show is not orchestrated. No, we do not get a script. I have done Big Brother and I have Bigg Boss and I am the last person, who would lie because I am known for speaking my mind out. For Zubair Khan to say that they give you a script and tell you what to speak on camera is just because he’s not a part of the show anymore and he wants to b**ch about it and gain some more footage than what he probably did on the show. But no, the show is not scripted, of course, there is editing; they can’t show you 24 hrs of a day but I can only go by my experience. I feel that my edit was completely justified, they showed every part of my personality – the good, the bad and the ugly. So, if you’re not confident of who you are then, of course, you’ll blame it all on the editing but editing can’t change you for who you are. If Zubair was being an a** on the show, that is going to show (unfortunately or fortunately). He was being really misogynistic on the show, he was an absolute an as****e on the show.
Priya think Arshi Khan, Vikas Gupta, Shilpa Shinde, Hina Khan and maybe even Akash Dadlani. I won’t be surprised if Akash becomes one of the finalists because people love him for the way he is. While Hina Khan, Vikas Gupta and Shilpa Shinde have a humongous fan base, Arshi Khan is providing a lot of entertainment and content. So they might make it to the finale. Also, if you take Arshi out of the house right now, the house will die down a little bit. And I am taking Akash’s name (not 100% sure of him) is because he is different and unlike anyone else in the house right now. Apart from these five, Priyank Sharma too created quite a buzz on the internet but so far what I have seen of Priyank, I think he is more about others than he is about himself.
