The finale of Bigg Boss Marathi was written in history as Megha Dhade bagged the winner trophy of the very first season. Megha Dhade came a long way barring all odds and playing the game of 100 days, beating 5 other finalists Pushkar Jog, Megha Dhade, Smita Gondhkar, Sai Lokur, Astad Kale, and Sharmishtha Raut.
The closing ceremony of this reality show was a star studded galore with special performances by co-contestants that made this event a night to remember.
The finale episode commenced with the words from a popular Bollywood song, Woh Sikandaar hi, hummed by actor and filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar. He hosted the season, and served as a guide and mentor for the candidates throughout their journey. The occasion called in for a celebration and it certainly was packaged to meet the entertainment quotient as all the finalists performed on the songs Koi Kahey Kehta Rahey, and Aaj ki raat.
The eviction to the final moment took rounds in which the first contestant to be evicted was wild card entry Sharmishtha Raut. The second person to leave the house was Astad Kale in an envelope opening round.
The third round had popular actress Sai Tamhankar come for a buzzer round that marked the eviction of Sai Lokur. Whereas the fourth had Smita Gondhkar eliminated leaving Megha Dhade and Pushkar Jog in the top two.
