Baadshaho has a star cast comprising the likes of Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi, Ileana D'Cruz, Vidyut Jammwal, Esha Gupta and Sanjay Mishra. All the characters seem to be crafted exclusively for their roles, as per the trailer. As reported earlier by Firstpost, the film is based on Indira Gandhi's orders to take over Jaigarh Fort (which was believed to be the hiding place for Raja Mansingh of Jaipur's treasure spoils of war from his campaign in Afghanistan during Emperor Akbar's time) at the time of the Emergency.
D'Cruz (Gitanjali) happens to be a royal who finds herself in a dilemma to hand over all the royal family treasures to the government. She hires Devgn (Bhawani) to ensure that the treasure doesn't go into the state's hands. And what follows next is a punchline that Devgn puts in: "Aapke sone ka carat mhaare character ko kharaab nahi kar sakta..." Devgn along with his crime-partners Hashmi (Dalia) and Mishra (Tikla) embark upon the adventure ride of their lifetime, hopping from a jeep to the trailer of truck that contains the treasure inside a vault; jumping off bridges, rooftops, firing and dodging bullets time and again. The two-minute-twenty-second-long trailer is racy, rusty, risky and Rajasthani to the core (esp. with the havelis, deserts, turbans and the accent).
