Janhvi Kapoor, last seen alongside Varun Dhawan in Nitesh Tiwari's Bawaal, is gearing up for her first-ever collaboration with Tiger Shroff in the Hindi remake of the 1982 Hollywood classic, Rambo, to be directed by Rohit Dhawan. In this iconic adaptation, Tiger will step into the formidable shoes of action legend Sylvester Stallone.
As per a report from Pinkvilla, Tiger and Janhvi are finally joining forces after several unsuccessful attempts in the past. While the specifics of Janhvi's character remain under wraps, it is evident that her role will play a pivotal part in the Rambo storyline.
These two talented actors have shared a history of acquaintance for years and are thrilled to embark on this professional journey together. Previously, Janhvi was slated to team up with Tiger in Ali Abbas Zafar's Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, co-starring Akshay Kumar. Regrettably, this collaboration fell through due to conflicting schedules.
The shooting for Rambo is tentatively scheduled to commence in January 2024, with Janhvi and Tiger commencing their roles once they wrap up their current commitments.
According to the report, producer Siddharth Anand and director Rohit Dhawan are passionately dedicated to this project, with aspirations to release the film in cinemas sometime in 2025.
On the professional front, Janhvi has a promising lineup with projects like Mr. and Mrs. Mahi, Ulajh, and Devara with Jr. NTR. Meanwhile, Tiger is set to star in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Ganapath Part 1 in his upcoming ventures.
