Directed by A.L. Vijay, 'Thalaivii' is a 2021 biographical drama depicting the life of actor-turned-politician Jayalalithaa (portrayed by Kangana Ranaut), her intricate relationship with M. G. Ramachandran (played by Arvind Swami), and her turbulent journey to becoming the former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. Kangana devoted herself entirely to the role, undergoing a dramatic physical transformation by gaining 20 kilograms in just six months.
In her upcoming projects, Kangana will be seen portraying the role of an Air Force Pilot in 'Tejas.' The film revolves around the remarkable journey of Tejas Gill, an Air Force pilot, and aims to inspire and evoke a deep sense of pride in the valiant soldiers who tirelessly defend our nation. Directed by Sarvesh Mewara, 'Tejas' is set to hit theaters on October 20, 2023.
Additionally, Kangana is set to appear in 'Chandramukhi 2,' the sequel to the Tamil horror-comedy blockbuster 'Chandramukhi,' originally starring Rajinikanth and Jyothika.
