With every new Bollywood movies, comes lot of fashion trends. Trends are often sparked up by Bollywood films, reach to the zeniths with flea markets brimming with the latest style and finally come to an abrupt end as another new trend creates a fizz.
Our street style is largely inspired by our Bollywood films rather than the hefty ramp shows. What stays and is worn is often what trends in our favorite movies.While most of the trends take up style and glamor to a whole new level, some fashion trends seemed to create jumping jacks on the streets. People followed them blindly and we couldn’t stop praying for the trend to pass away!
# Bell BottomsWhile the world is going gaga over flared palazzos, we are happy not to see the Boho glimpses of the bell bottoms from the 80’s that were nothing more than a mere visual impairment! Even worse, the men pulled it off like Kings!
# Mid Hair PartitionSalman created some real havoc for the girls with ‘Tere Naam’ parting his oily mane with a geometrical scale. Following him, there was this extremely embarrassing phase as the guys on the roads took the hairstyle way too personally!
# Shoulder PadsThe heavily embroidered blazers with shoulders pads and golden hues took us instantly to an orchestra band. Good riddance!
# Coned BrasseriesWhile they were meant to give a sensual appeal to those assets, the coned bras did nothing more than instilling fear of getting poked by one of them!
