Scarves are a staple when it comes to winter. But the same old, boring style of draping a scarf can add monotony to an outfit and make it look boring. Play up your look with these easy and fun ways of draping your scarf that will make you stand out of the crowd.
* The Shawl Shrug
Is the biting cold making your arms shiver? With this style you can protect them from freezing. Simply tie a knot at the back and spread it out until it looks like a shrug. Easy, right?
* The Knotted LoopA chicer twist to the basic knot. Loop your scarf how you normally would around your neck and then add a half knot near your neck. Then, pull the fabric over the knot and you’re good to go!
* The French KnotThis one is a little tricky to follow but with the right tugs, you’ll perfect it! All you need to do is fold your scarf in half and drape it around ygour neck then grab one end and pull it over and under the scarf loop, as pictured. Do the same with the other end and you’re done!
* The Scarf NecklaceThis one is a bit complicated as well but can you see how pretty it looks? All you need to do is take a long scarf and put it behind your neck. Tie a loose half knot with the ends. Take the right end and cross it over the left then pull it under the scarf loop and over. Let it hang down and grab the left end (now on the right side) and cross it over the other end and pull it up and over. Repeat until the ends are too short to loop. Pull the braid to loosen it and then knot the short end pieces together.
* The Knotted PendantOnce you drape the scarf on your shoulders, take one end and wrap it around your hand. Pull it through to make a loose knot and then take the other end and pull it through the side knot, going under the knot loop and then over.
