A large majority of people spend most of their time working. Work is important as in our post-modern late-capitalistic world if one doesn’t work then their life can become very difficult. But it is even more important to remember that there is a lot more to life than just work. Having fun is an essential part of the human experience and nowadays a lot of people prefer to have fun doing indoor activities like playing online games in an Indian Casino (because it’s new and fun) or watching movies. This article, however, is for the people who live for the essence of the word, wanderlust.
* Kovalam Beach, KeralaLet’s start with the most southern state of south India. Kerala is awesome in more ways than one but the beauty of what people like to call ‘God’s’ own country’ might actually be its greatest asset. Being a coastal state, it offers plenty of wonderful beaches to choose from, but after much deliberation, it felt right to put the beach in Kovalam at the 5th place on this list.
* Muzhappilangad Beach, KeralaIf you thought that there was only going to be one beach from Kerela, then you really need to stop underestimating this state. But the location of this beach isn’t really the thing that secured its position on this list.
* PondicherryIf you want to visit a beach, but your significant other has the desire to go to a place that is filled to the brim with culture, then Pondicherry is the answer to all your prayers for the perfect getaway. While French people aren’t really present in most of the Indian subcontinent, a trip to Pondicherry will definitely make you wish that wasn’t the case.
* Chandipur Beach, OdishaTwo times in a day, you will find that the sea you were relaxing next to have disappeared entirely but what it leaves behind is not disappointing in the slightest. Red Crabs, shells and other coastal creatures can be found where the sea used to be so can have the time of your life picking them up for playing and clicking some fantastic pictures with them to drive your friends crazy with envy.
* GoaSometimes, the most obvious answer is the correct one.If variety wasn’t a primary consideration while making this list, then the beaches of Goa alone were more than enough to take all 5 spots. The only problem would have been deciding which one to put ahead of the others.Pololem, Agonda, Arambol, Anjuna, and Baga. All of these 5 beaches are awesome in their own right, and each is better for at least one thing than the others.
