# HaggisHaggis is the national dish of Scotland. It comprises of the insides of a sheep, mainly the lungs, stomach, heart, and liver. The stomach itself is stuffed with the organ meats, onions and spices, oatmeal, and suet. All of these are then boiled together for a few hours. This dish is then served with mashed potatoes, turnips, and whiskey.
# BalutA Filipino delicacy, balut is a fertilized chicken or duck egg. The embryo of the egg is almost fully developed. The egg is boiled and eaten right out of the shell and this is usually accompanied by a beer. This dish is quite popular on the streets of Phillipines.
# DurianDurian is a stinky fruit that is enjoyed mostly by Asian people, it is either eaten raw or prepared. The fruit smells so rotten that it is banned in all airports around the world, and most metros as well.
# Bear ClawThe bear claw is a Chinese dish that is prepared from actual bear claws. The creation of this dish is however extremely inhumane as bears are tortured before they are killed so specific hormones can be secreted which adds flavour to the dish.
# Century EggsCentury eggs are a delicacy from China in which the eggs of quail, chicken, and duck are covered in ashes, clay salt and preserved for a number of months. The insides of the egg begin to decompose and form a green-ish jelly like mixture which is then served straight onto the plate.
# Casu MarzuCasu Marzu is a dish from Italy. It is a type of sheep milk cheese which is left to rot. A hole is cut in the middle of the cheese and left outside to allow flies to lay eggs in it. The rotted cheese soon contains maggots which develop from the eggs. This dish is appreciated for its soft and gooey texture that comes from the insects and larvae present in it.
# Monkey BrainsThis is a delicacy from China and a few other East-Asian countries. The brain can be either eaten raw or cooked with a variety of spices or fried.
