# Deesa

Situated in Gujarat, Deesa is recognized by India's sports authority as a potential certified skydiving zone. It is India’s first official skydiving destination, offering static jumps. Participants undergo 1.5 days of training before they jump without an instructor. However, two instructors are connected via radio to guide the skydiver to a safe landing.

# Dhana

Located in Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh, Dhana is known for its skydiving camps organized by various operators. While the freefall time here is shorter compared to other locations, it offers scenic views of vast landscapes. The first-ever Indian skydiving event was held here. A 30-minute training session is required, and the freefall speed is around 120 mph. It’s best to visit year-round, excluding the monsoon and windy seasons.

Narnaul, in Haryana, is India’s only international skydiving zone, just two hours from New Delhi. It offers both Tandem and Static Line Jumps, with a one-hour pre-jump training session. However, it is not recommended during the monsoon season.

The Aligarh airstrip in Uttar Pradesh offers skydiving with a fitness test requirement for all participants to ensure they are medically fit. A general physician must provide a medical certificate for participants. The location has 5 slots per day, so prior reservations are necessary. The Tandem jump package includes a certificate of completion, a coffee mug, and a photo and video recording of the skydiving experience.

# Pondicherry

Pondicherry is a popular tourist destination, and skydiving is one of its many exciting activities. It offers both Tandem and Static jumps, with the opportunity to enjoy stunning views of the sea meeting the land. Operators organize regular skydiving camps based on weather conditions. For a static jump, participants must be at least 16 years old, while the minimum age for a Tandem jump is 18 years. Tandem jumps take place from 10,000 ft, while Static jumps are from 4,000 ft.
