# KingstonKingston is the largest city on the island and also the capital of the country. Population density is high as around half of the country’s population lives in this city. In the 16th century in 1692, the city was formed after its old city of Port Royal was destroyed in an earthquake. Kingston has suffered many losses in the past and was almost destroyed by a devastating fire and an earthquake in 1907. # Blue Mountains
The coffee plantations and waterfalls are the cause for a horde of tourists on the mountain. Blue mountain is a part of the long-range mountain in Jamaica which is about 45 km in length and is one of the longest in the whole Caribbean. It is said that from the highest peak of the range one can see till Cuba if the weather is clear. This mountain gets its name from the bluish fog which engulfed its peaks.
Trails in the blue mountains are like a snake but these dirt trails are easily accessible on foot, bikes, and also by four-wheelers. When you move on these trails you will get to see mountain villages and farmlands on the way. There are more than 500 types of different plants and trees.
