Butter carrot soup is a delicious and high calorie soup. Normally soup is less oily and healthy drink but this time I am sharing this high calorie butter carrot soup. We often see people break the practice of having a bowl of soup everyday as it is not so tasty. So if it is your case then you may have this once in a month or fortnight to break monotonous taste of soup and make this soup at home by following this easy butter carrot soup recipe.
Ingredients
Carrot (gajar) – 40 gm grated & 40 gm cut into small pieces
Onion (payaz) – 1 small size
Beans – 2 pieces
Ginger (adrak) – 1 tsp (grated)
Garlic( Lahsun) – 4 cloves (chopped)
Green chilies (hara mirch) – 1 (chopped)
Corn flour – 1 tsp
Salt – according to taste
Oil – 3 tsp
Butter – 3 tsp
Black pepper powder – 1 tsp
Method- Heat a frying pan and add all ingredients one by one and fry in oil (Onion, ginger, garlic, beans, grated & pieces of carrot)
- Now add chopped green chilies and salt
- Add 1.5 cup of water and boil all ingredients
- Mash vegetables with masher
- Now add corn flour and stir well
- Pour soup in a bowl
- Heat 3 tsp of butter in cooking pot and add it in soup
- Spread 1 tsp black pepper powder over soup
- Serve hot.
