Ice Tea Thandai is an interesting beverage recipe made with tea bags, Indian spices and saffron. Made in minutes, this quick beverage recipe can be served on festivals and special occasions.
Ingredients7 white peppercorns
1/4 cup almonds
1 teaspoon fennel seeds
3 tablespoon sugar
2 tea bags
2 teaspoon poppy seeds
1/2 teaspoon green cardamom
2 pinches saffron
Method* Heat water in a flask and add 2 tea bags.
* Add ¼ cup almonds, khus-khus, fennel seeds and cardamom in the mixture.
* Top it up with kali mirch and ground sugar to taste.
* Place few saffron strands over the drink for flavour and colour.
* Cool it in the refrigerator, add ice and serve strained.
* Garnish with green chilli and serve.
