Ingredients
250 gm washed & dried,cubed mutton
1 teaspoon Refined oil
1 pinch salt
1 sliced onion
2 teaspoon chopped Mint Leaves
1/4 teaspoon chaat masala powder
2 parathas
3/4 teaspoon butter
2 tablespoon juice of 1 lemon
1 handful chopped coriander leaves
2 chopped green chilli
For Marination
1 teaspoon garlic paste
1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
1/4 teaspoon cumin powder
1 finely chopped green chilli
1 teaspoon ginger paste
1/4 teaspoon powdered turmeric
1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon Refined oil
Method
1.Combine all the marinade ingredients in a bowl. Add the mutton pieces(boneless mutton cut into bite-sized chunks) and mix well. Keep the bowl in the fridge for 4 hours and marinate the mutton pieces.
2. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium flame. Remove the mutton from the fridge. Sprinkle salt and keep aside for 5 to 10 minutes.
3. Fry the mutton pieces in hot oil until browned. Remove and transfer them to a plate.
4. Keep only 1 tsp oil in the pan and add the fried mutton pieces. Add butter and a little water. Reduce heat to low and cook, covered, for 10 minutes or until the mutton pieces are tender and cooked.
5. Remove when the moisture has evaporated. Add juice of 1/2 lemon and keep aside in a warm place.
6.Heat a tawa over medium flame. Warm the parathas till hot and crisp.
7. Place a large spoonful of the mutton mixture on one side of the paratha. Add some onions, mint leaves and coriander leaves. Sprinkle some chaat masala and little lime juice.
8. Roll the paratha tightly. Cut them into two if desired. Serve at once with mint chutney.
