Ingredients
For DoughAll-purpose flour 3 cups
Salt 1 tsp
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Oil 3-4 tbsp
Water as required
For Vegetable FillingCarrot (julienne) 1 cup
Cabbage (julienne) 1 cup
Capsicum (julienne) 1 cup
Oil 2 tbsp
Chili sauce 1 tbsp
Ketchup 2 tbsp
Soy sauce 2 tbsp
Salt 1/2 tsp / to taste
Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
For AssemblingSamosa dough
Chinese filling as required
Flour mixture (flour 1 cup + water 1/2 cup) as required
K&N’s Kafta Kabab 515 g
Oil (for frying) as required
Method* In a bowl add flour, salt, cumin seeds, oil and mix well. Now, start adding water, little by little and mix to form a stiff dough.
* Cover the dough with a cling film and let it rest for 15-20 minutes.
* Heat oil in a pan and sauté garlic in it. Add onion and cook until translucent. Add carrot, cabbage, capsicum, soy sauce and mix well.
* Add chili sauce, ketchup, black pepper, salt and cook for 2-3 minutes. Your vegetable filling is ready.
* Fry K&N’s Kafta Kabab as per instructions on the pack.
* Take the prepared dough and cut into 8 equal parts. Make small dough balls, roll out into flat circle, and cut square shapes .
* Take prepared K&N’s Kafta Kabab and cut it into half. Place the 2 halves of K&N’s Kafta Kabab on prepared samosa dough. Add vegetable filling on top of K&N’s Kafta Kabab.
* Now take the four corners of samosa dough, brush flour mixture on the edges and combine them together making a square dumpling shape using flour mixture.
* Deep fry the prepared samosa until golden brown in color.
