Weekend is finally here. And its time to enjoy some lip smacking snacks. As the sun is also on its peak so try something too much hot is not a good option. But, what about trying snadwichs and enjoying your favorite series with your family and friends. SO, here we are with 4 easy to make sandwiches to make your weekend perfect.

# Potato & Peas Sandwich

Ingredients


1 cup potatoes (boiled, peeled and mashed)
2 tablespoons finely chopped onions
2 tablespoons finely chopped coriander leaves
2 tablespoon boiled peas
1 teaspoon freshly ground ginger
1 teaspoon finely chopped green chillies
1 teaspoon chaat masala
Salt to taste
6 slices bread
2 teaspoons butter

Method

- Combine all the ingredients for stuffing in a bowl and mix well.

- Place 3 slices of bread in a dish and spread the prepared potato stuffing generously on each slice with the help of a spoon. Cover each of them with a bread slice. You will get 3 sandwiches stuffed with potato filling.

- Apply little butter on the outer sides of the sandwiches and keep aside.

- Heat a flat non-stick pan. Place a sandwich on it and toast it till light brown and crispy from both sides.

- Repeat the same process for the remaining 2 sandwiches.

- Cut each sandwich diagonally into 2 triangular sandwiches.

- Serve hot with green chutney and masala chai.

# Rajma Sandwich

Ingredients


1 cup boiled Rajma (Red Kidney Beans)
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 large tomato, finely chopped
2 green chillies, finely chopped
2 tablespoons grated cheese
2 tablespoons tomato ketchup
1 tablespoon red chilli sauce (optional)
1 teaspoon chaat masala
Salt to taste
6 slices bread
2 teaspoons butter

Method

- Combine all the ingredients for stuffing in a bowl and mix well.

- Place 3 slices of bread in a dish and spread the prepared stuffing generously on each slice with the help of a spoon. Cover each of them with a bread slice.

- Apply little butter on the outer sides of the sandwiches and keep aside.

- Pre-heat a sandwich grill or a grill pan and brush little butter on it. Grill the sandwiches for 3-4 minutes or until light brown and crispy from both sides.

- Cut the sandwiches diagonally. Serve hot with green chutney or tomato chutney.

# Bombay Sandwich

Ingredients

4 brown bread slices
2 medium-sized boiled potatoes (peeled & sliced)
1 cucumber, cut into round slices
1 tomato, cut into round slices
2 teaspoons butter
2 tablespoons green chutney
1 tablespoon tomato ketchup
11/2 teaspoon chaat masala
1/2 teaspoon black salt
1 tablespoon nylon sev (fine sev)
Salt to taste

Method

- Apply butter on 2 bread slices using a butter knife. Place them in a dish with the butter side up.

- Place 6 cucumber slices on each of the buttered bread slices. Sprinkle some salt on the cucumber slices.

- Place 4 tomato slices on top of cucumber slices on each bread slice. Sprinkle some black salt on the tomato slices.

- Place 6 boiled potato slices on top of sliced tomatoes on each bread slice. Sprinkle some chaat masala on the potato slices.

- Apply green chutney on the other 2 bread slices. Place them over the bread slices topped with cucumber, tomato and potato slices with chutney side facing downwards.

- Apply little butter on the outer sides of each sandwich. Grill the sandwiches in an electric sandwich grill or on a grill pan till they are golden-brown and crisp from both sides.

- Apply little tomato ketchup and green chutney on top of each grilled sandwich.

- Sprinkle some sev and serve immediately with tea.


# Pav-Bhaji Sandwich

Ingredients


1 cup bhaji (Click herefor bhaji recipe)
1 medium-sized onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup grated cheese
1/2 teaspoon pav bhaji masala
4 pav
1 teaspoon butter

Method

- Slit the pav horizontally to cut them into 2 parts like burger buns.

- Apply little butter on both sides of each pav and place it on a pre-heated flat pan. Toast slightly on both sides and take them out in a serving dish.

- Spread the bhaji generously on one part (base) of each pav.

- Sprinkle grated cheese and chopped onions on top of bhaji. Cover with the other half of each pav to make a sandwich.

- Sprinkle some grated cheese on top of each sandwich. Sprinkle little pav bhaji masala on grated cheese.

- Serve hot with masala chai.
