Recipe- 4 Yummy Popsicles That are Perfect for Summers

I am not one of those who crave a Popsicle only in summer! I enjoy them all through the year. These delicious creamsicles or popsicles are super delicious. I am one of those who feels that popsicles need not be limited to Summers! They can be made and had all year round! We want popsicles in every season! Agree?

Ice pops are always welcome because you can serve them on many occasions. You can enjoy them as a light snack, midnight snack, at kids' birthday parties, or as a light dessert post a meal.

# Creamsicles with Peach and Mango

Ingredients


1 mango
2 peaches
1/2 cup condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla extract

Method


- Wash, peel and chop the mangoes and peaches. You may choose to leave the skin of the peaches on. Add them both to a blender.

- Pour the condensed milk. Add the vanilla extract.

- Blend till smooth. There is no need to add water. Only add if its too thick to blend.

- Fill 3/4th of the popsicle molds with the puree and freeze for 6-8 hours or overnight.


# Masala Soda Blueberry Popsicles

Ingredients


3/4 cup frozen blueberries
2 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 cup mint leaves
1 tbsp roasted cumin powder
2 tsp black salt
1 cup soda or sparkling water
1 tsp chaat masala
1 tsp salt

Method

- In a blender jar, add frozen blueberries, lemon juice, mint leaves, roasted cumin powder, black salt, soda or sparkling water, salt, and chaat masala.

- You can add little brown sugar if you want. Blend it all together.

- Strain the mixture and pour it in Popsicle molds. Don't fill it fully, just about 3/4 of it. Freeze overnight.

# Indian Spiced Buttermilk Ice Pops

Ingredients


2 cups yogurt
1 cup water
1/2 cup cilantro leaves
1/4 cup mint leaves
2 green chillies
1 tsp asafoetida
1 tbsp roasted cumin powder
Half inch ginger (optional)
Salt as required

Method

- In a blender, add yogurt, mint leaves, cilantro leaves, asafoetida, roasted cumin powder, salt and water. Blitz well.

- Pour this into Popsicle molds and freeze them overnight. That is it! Indian Spiced Buttermilk Ice Pops are ready!

# Strawberry Cheesecake Popsicle With Granola

Ingredients

3/4 cup granola
1 tbsp melted butter
8 oz cream cheese
1/2 cup yogurt
1/2 cup milk
1-2 tbsp sugar
8-10 strawberries
Popsicle molds

Method

-
Coarsely grind granola with butter to get a crumbly texture.

- Keep it aside for now. In a blender, add cream cheese, yogurt, milk, sugar and strawberries. Blend to a smooth consistency.

- Pour this into Popsicle molds and top it with crushed granola. Freeze for 5-6 hours. Serve chilled.
