Aloo Shakarkandi ki chaat is boiled potato and sweet potato tossed in Indian spice mix Chaat Masala and chutneys garnished with fresh coriander leaves and pomegranate seeds.Mainly a satvik recipe that can be eaten on fastings days and festivals. People also make it during regular days as evening snack specially in winters.
Ingredients
2 Sweet Potatoes
1-2 Potatoes
Green Chutney
Tamarind Chutney
1/2 Cup Pomogrante Seeds
Chaat Masala as per taste
Method
* Boiled Potatoes and Sweet potatoes, are stir fried in little oil Cilantro and Mint Chutney and Tamarind Chutney.
* First Step is boil Potatoes and Sweet potato. Use pressure cooker to boil. In open pan it can take quite sometime.
* Stir fry peeled, cubed tubers in little desi ghee. Once potatoes and sweet potatoes start to get caramelize,add salt and mix well.
* Take out in a serving bowl.
* Divide into individual bowls, top with green chutney and tamarind chutney. add pomegranate seeds and serve.
