Recipe- Creamy and Addictive Garlic Olive Dip

Garlic Olive Dip is super easy to make creamy and addictive dip that is perfect for entertaining guests this spring season. This dip can be served with fresh spring vegetables, toasted bread or crackers of your choice. Prepare this dip for your next party, spring outdoor potlucks or holiday gatherings.

Olives are one of the easiest appetizers to serve as they require minimal or no preparation, tasty to eat and you can easily please your crowd. They taste great in soups, salads, any appetizer, pastas, quiches and many more.

Ingredients

Olive juice / Brine – 1 tbsp
Olive oil – 2 tbsp
Serrano pepper / Green chile – 1
Black peppercorns – 1/2 tsp
Cream cheese softened – 8 oz
Roasted Garlic cloves – 2 or 3
Milk – 1/4 cup
Coriander leaves / Cilantro chopped – 2 tbsp
Pearls Specialties Pitted Kalamata – 1/2 cup

Method

* In a blender or food processor add all the ingredients except cilantro, and blend until everything is mixed well and creamy.

* Garnish with chopped cilantro and few chopped olives.

* Refrigerate for few hours or you can keep this even over night (this is optional, but helps to develop good flavors).

* Serve with cut spring vegetables of your choice, toasted bread or crackers.

* To roast the garlic, I have just crushed them and sauteed in oil till it becomes golden brown.

* You can add fresh chopped herbs like parsley or basil instead of cilantro.
