These kebabs were filled with goodness of mushrooms and oats along with Chilli ,coriander and pepper. It was a very healthy , protein and fibre packed breakfast for us and we all loved it with mint chutney.So let’s start the recipe.
Ingredients1/2 cup mushrooms ,chopped
3/4 cup quick cooking rolled oats
3/4 cup low-fat milk
1 cup onion,finely chopped
1 teaspoon black pepper,crushed
salt to taste
1/4 cup coriander leaves
2 green chillies,chopped
1 tablespoon oil
Method* Heat half a tablespoon oil in a pan, add the onion and green chillies and sauté for a minute.
* Add the mushrooms and oats and sauté again for another 2 to 3 minutes.
* Now Add the milk, salt and pepper and mix well.Cook till the mixture thickens and leaves the sides of pans.
* Remove from the heat and add coriander leaves.
* Cool slightly and divide the mixture into 12 equal portions.
* Roll out each portion into oval kebabs .
* Heat a non stick tava and cook each kebab, using a little oil.
