Recipe- Easy and Delicious Almond Flour Ladoo

Almond Flour Ladoo is a easy and delicious ladoo made with almonds, jaggery and cardamom. Refined sugar free, this laddu will be one of the easy Indian sweets you will ever make.

Almond Flour is easily available in U.S and I generally keep a pack of Almond Flour in my pantry. I use it in curries, smoothies, Indian sweets and add in the chapathi dough. It is also a great way of sneaking in some nuts in your diet.

Almonds are called Badam in India and are used to make many sweets like halwa, burfi, Katli and ladoo. The recipe I am sharing today is almond ladoo made with store bought almond flour.

Ingredients

2 cups almond flour
⅔ cups powdered jaggery or to taste
2 tsp ghee
3 cardamom

Method

- Heat a pan on low flame and add the almond flour. Pan fry the flour for three minutes stirring often. ( we are just looking for the flour to get warm, which will help in binding the ladoo)

- Transfer the warm almond flour to a blender and add the powdered jaggery and cardamom.

- Pulse the mixture few times and add some ghee. at this point you can taste for sweetness and add more if needed.

- Run the blender again for few seconds till the oil starts releasing from the almond powder and the mixture is coming together.

- Take a small portion of the mixture and try forming a ladoo. If it doesn’t break, its the perfect consistency. If it is crumbling, pulse the mixture again.

- Transfer the mixture and form ladoo. You can serve as is or roll them in some almond flour.
