Rava pakoda is a very easy and simple recipe. We always keep on making kanda, bhaji, batata bhaji or mirchi bhaji. This CKP special recipe tastes just awesome. Do try this different bhaji at home and drop a comment for me.
Ingredients1/2 cup Fine Rava
Salt to taste
2 tbsp Curd / Yogurt
1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
A pinch Baking soda
2 tbsp finely chopped Onion
2 tbsp finely chopped Coriander leaves
Finely chopped Green chili
Method* In a bowl take fine rava.
* Add curd, salt, cumin seeds, baking soda, onion, coriander leaves, green chili and mix everything well together.
* Add a little water at a time and make batter.
* The consistency of batter should not be too runny but a little thin like pakoda batter.
* Cover and rest the batter for about 15-20 minutes.
* Heat up oil in a pan.
* Drop small pakoda into hot oil and fry until these turn nice golden from all sides.
* The size of pakoda should be small so that these will be fried well.
* After frying for about 3-4 minutes from one side flip the pakoda over and fry well from other side too.
* Take the pakoda out, drain excess oil and transfer then in a dish.
* Rava pakoda are already.
* You can have rava pakoda with green chutney, tamarind-gudh chutney or as it is.
