Hyderabadi cuisine is famous for its delectable flavors. If you want to cook some dish from kitchens of Hyderabad then make Hyderabadi Veg Korma. This makes a wonderful recipe for main course
Ingredients1/4 cup cauliflower florets
1/4 cup french beans (chopped)
1/4 cup carrot cubes
1/4 cup fresh green peas
1/2 cup capsicum cubes
1/4 cup baby corn (sliced)
2 tsp oil
1/2 tsp cumin seeds/jeera
1/3 cup onion paste
2 cloves/laung
1 piece cinnamon/dalchini
1 cardamom/elaichi
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1/2 tsp green chilli paste
water
1 cup milk
2 tbsp fresh cream
1/2 tsp garam masala
salt to taste
For garnish1 tbsp coriander/dhania (finely chopped)
Method* Take a pan and heat the oil and add cumin seeds. When seeds crackle, add onion paste, cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, ginger-garlic paste and green chilli paste.
* Cook on medium flame for 5 minutes.
* Add cauliflower, french beans, carrot, green peas, capsicum and baby corn. Also add 1/2 cup of milk and 1/4 cup of water. Mix well and cover it with a lid.
* Cook on medium flame for 6 minutes while stirring occasionally. Then add remaining 1/2 cup of milk, fresh cream, garam masala and salt.
* Mix well and cook on medium flame for 4 minutes while stirring occasionally.
* Tasty Hyderabadi Veg Korma is ready. Serve hot garnished with coriander.
