Recipe- Perfect for Weekends Cheese Corn Sandwich

To make a cheese corn sandwich, the filling is spread on slices of bread, and then toasted or grilled until the cheese is melted and the bread is crispy. The filling can also be customized with different spices and herbs to suit individual tastes.

Ingredients

4 slices of bread
1/2 cup of boiled sweet corn
1/2 cup of grated cheese
1/4 tsp of black pepper powder
1/4 tsp of red chilli powder
1/4 tsp of cumin powder
Salt to taste
2 tbsp of butter

Method

- In a mixing bowl, add boiled sweet corn, grated cheese, black pepper powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder, and salt. Mix well.

- Take two slices of bread and spread the filling on one side of each slice.

- Cover the filling with the remaining two slices of bread to make two sandwiches.

- Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and melt a tablespoon of butter.

- Once the butter has melted, place the sandwiches on the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until the bread is toasted and the cheese is melted.

- Cut the sandwiches into halves or quarters and serve hot with ketchup or chutney.
