Mostly soup is known as a healthy food. But here it is not so healthy but believe me this cabbage soup is super tasty and once you have tried this you will definitely try this again and again. But why I am saying that it is not healthy? Answer is very simple, here it is made with butter and your favorite Indian spices. But why will you have unhealthy cabbage soup?
IngredientsCabbage / patta gobi (chopped) - 1 cup
Tomato - 1 small size
Onion / pyaz - 2 small size
Whole red chili - 2-3
Garlic cloves / lahsun - 2-3
Ginger / adrak - ½ inch
Soya sauce - 1 tsp
Black pepper - 2 tsp
Butter - 2 tsp
Salt - as needed
Water - 2 cup
Oil - 1 tbsp
Method- Blend onion (use only 1), tomato, red chilli, garlic, ginger and make a puree
- Heat oil in a pan and add that puree and fry till color turns to little darker
- Now add soya sauce and mix well
- Add chopped onion (use remaining one) and stir well
- Now add chopped cabbage and mix with all other ingredients and cook for 3-4 minutes over a low flame
- Add water and let it start boiling for 7-8 minutes
- Switch off the flame and pour soup into bowls
- Add black pepper powder and butter over cabbage soup.
