Recipe - Make Monsoon Special With Suji Besan Cutlet

Ingredients

Besan – 1 cup
Sooji (Rava) – 1 cup
Black Pepper – 1/2 tsp
Jirra (Cumin) – 1/2 tsp
Ajwain (Carom Seeds) – 1/2 tsp
Red chilly flake – 1/2 tsp
Green chilly (Chhoped) – 2
Salt per taste
Chat Masala Powder – 1/2 tsp
Haldi (Turmeric) Powder -1 tsp
Rai (Mustard Seed) – 1/2 tsp
Hing (Asafoetida) – 1/4 tsp
Coriander leave
Oil

Method

* In a bowl take 1 cup Besan and 1 cup sooji.

* Add 1/2 tsp Black Pepper, 1/2 tsp Jirra (Cumin), 1/2 tsp Ajwain (Carom Seeds), 1/2 tsp Red chilly flake, 2 Green chilly (Chopped) and Salt as per taste.

* Now add 1/2 tsp turmeric powder and 1/2 tsp chat masala powder. Then mix well.

* Mix very well using little water.

* Again mix very well using more water till the batter becomes thin.

* Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan on medium flame. Then add 1/2 tsp Mustard Seed and 1 Pinch Hing.

* Now add the batter.

* Stir continuously so that no lumps formed.

* Now add chopped coriander leaves.

* Stair continuously.

* Turn off the flame when the batter become dough.

* Spread in a plate and keep aside for cooling down.

* Make dough of it, now it is ready for making cutlets

* Take some piece and make your desire shape cutlet.

* In a kadhai heat oil and fry the cutlet made in above step using high flame of gas stove til the cutlet becomes golden brown.

* Transferred it in a plate having tissue paper so that the tissue paper observe the excess oil from cutlet.

* Suji Besan Cutlet is ready enjoy with some chutney of tomato ketchup.-
