Doctors from Saifai Medical College Among VictimsThe five deceased were doctors working at Saifai Medical College. They were returning to Saifai from Lucknow when the accident took place near the 196 km mark in the Tirva Kotwali area.
The fatal crash occurred around 3:43 AM on Wednesday. According to initial reports, the driver of the Scorpio likely fell asleep, causing the vehicle to veer off its lane, break through the divider, and enter the opposite carriageway. The collision with the truck was so severe that the car was completely mangled.
