Demand for Change in Jharkhand? BJP to Expose Hemant Soren Government Through 'Parivartan Yatra'

Through this 'Parivartan Yatra', the BJP aims to bring the shortcomings of Hemant Soren's government to the public. The party is ready to expose the JMM government through this campaign, with the slogan 'Neither will we tolerate, nor remain silent, we will bring change.'

What is BJP's 'Parivartan Yatra'?

Amit Shah will flag off the BJP's 'Parivartan Yatra' in Sahibganj. The opposition BJP will launch six 'Parivartan Yatras' across different divisions of Jharkhand, with the goal of highlighting the failures of the coalition government led by JMM and uprooting it in the upcoming assembly elections. The 'Parivartan Yatras' will cover 5,400 kilometers, passing through all 81 assembly constituencies in 24 districts. The yatra will run from September 20 to October 3, with each leg starting on different dates from different organizational divisions. Jharkhand is divided into five official divisions-Santhal Pargana, Palamu, North Chotanagpur, South Chotanagpur, and Kolhan-with North Chotanagpur further divided for organizational purposes. The 'Parivartan Yatra' will travel through all these divisions.

On social media platform X, the BJP stated that the JMM-Congress government has forced the people of Jharkhand to shed tears of blood. Corrupt officials and mafia are looting the state's resources, in collaboration with family-oriented forces promoting the infiltration of outsiders. The BJP declared, A wave of change is resonating in the hearts of the people. The BJP, through the 'Parivartan Yatra,' will reach every block, every home, every family. They assured the people of Jharkhand that the only solution to save their resources and dignity is to vote for the BJP. The party called on citizens to be part of this change.

The BJP emphasized that the 'Parivartan Yatra' is not just a political campaign but reflects the party's commitment to bring meaningful change in Jharkhand. Through this initiative, the party aims to address key issues such as development, employment, and social harmony to pave the way for a brighter future for the state and its citizens.

Liberation from family rule

The BJP accused the Soren family of clinging to power in Jharkhand since the establishment of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) in 1973, and of promoting nepotism and betrayal. The Soren family has been accused of fostering family dominance in state politics. After being sidelined, veteran JMM leader Champai Soren joined the BJP, deepening allegations of nepotism within the JMM.

Liberation from corruption

The BJP has accused the Hemant Soren government of being steeped in corruption. Since Hemant Soren assumed power in 2019, the state has seen numerous reports of scams and negligence. From the seizure of INR 17 crore from the residence of an IAS officer's close associate to allegations of disproportionate assets against top officials, including the Chief Minister himself, corruption has plagued the state.

Punishment for criminals and corrupt individuals

The BJP vowed to bring criminals and corrupt individuals to justice if it comes to power, claiming that Hemant Soren's government has failed to take action against these elements.

Upliftment of tribal communities

The BJP accused Hemant Soren of ignoring the upliftment and development of tribal communities, despite having come to power by securing tribal votes. Leaders from the BJP expressed concern over the declining tribal population in Jharkhand and blamed the Soren government for its leniency towards illegal infiltrators, which they claimed is endangering the state's indigenous communities.

Development of industries and infrastructure

The BJP criticized the Hemant Soren government for failing to develop industries and infrastructure in Jharkhand, despite allocating significant funds for such projects. The party questioned the state government's progress on industrial development and infrastructure enhancement.

Employment and economic growth

One of the most pressing issues the BJP plans to address is unemployment. Hemant Soren had promised to create 500,000 jobs, but the reality, according to the BJP, is that Jharkhand's youth continue to struggle with unemployment. Recent incidents, such as the tragic death of 12 candidates during a recruitment test, have further spotlighted the state government's inadequacies in fulfilling employment promises.

Preserving Jharkhand's identity

The BJP stated that Jharkhand's identity is under threat under Hemant Soren's rule. The party argued that the state's cultural and social identity needs to be protected from harmful policies, and a change in leadership is essential for this.

Strengthening BJP's presence through 'Parivartan Yatra'

The BJP aims to strengthen its grip on the state through the 'Parivartan Yatra' by addressing local issues and concerns, while proposing solutions that could significantly alter Jharkhand's political and social landscape. By connecting directly with the people, the party hopes to understand their needs and grievances, and develop policies that resonate with the electorate, laying the foundation for a more inclusive and participatory governance model.
