Jog falls is counted amongst the highest waterfalls of our country. It is located in the Shimoga district of Karnataka, which nearly lies in the centre of the state. Set against the backdrop of lush green forests the water of four cascades which are known as Raja, Rani, Rocket and Rover merge together to form the majestic beauty of the falls. The enormous view of the falls can be enjoyed best from Watkins platform.
