Menmecho Lake

Menmecho lake is situated among the mountains covered with snow throughout the winters. The lake holds a large fishing activity and is source of Rangpo-chu River. Trekking is the way to reach to Menmecho lake as it is surrounded by mountains from all the sides no vehicle can go there. It is famous for its trout population.

Khecheopalri Lake

Khecheopalri lake is believed to be a wish fulling lake by the residents. It is located at an altitude of 38,000ft. the lake is known for its religious beliefs. A way is made for people to offer their worship in the lake. Presence of huge number of tourists have made it a topic of concern for the government.

Karthok Lake

Samiti Lake

Samiti lake is situated at the height of 15,700ft. Covered by two different mountains on parallel sides makes the lake more appealing. It is a glacial lake toward the Gochala pass. On sunny days, the water reflects the images of mountains and the view is breath-taking.
