5 Rules To Wear A Perfume

The concept of buying perfumes is simple. You need to buy milder fragrances when the climate is hot and bolder fragrances when the temperature falls. Many of us love our perfumes and what we love even more is spraying it on our entire body. In a bid to make sure that we smell good, there are times when we overdo it. So, here is a guide for you that tells you about the etiquette of applying perfumes.
Don't Overdo
No matter how much you love your perfume, it is not cool to drench yourself in that fragrance. You might feel good about yourself doing that but trust us, you will successfully be choking the person sitting next to you. And not to forget the fact that perfumes are expensive, so you shouldn’t really end up finishing one bottle in a week when you go on a spraying spree.
Matching the occassion
When you are in a meeting you don’t want everybody to be sneezing or noticing the strong fragrance that you are wearing. It is very important to choose your fragrance wisely depending on the occasion. For instance, occasions like a cocktail party, a day at the office or corporate events demand a little sophistication, hence use a subtle fragrance. Always remember that your choice of perfume should compliment your personality.
Don't Crazyly Splash
Do not go crazy splashing perfume all over your clothes. The only areas you need to apply your perfume are on your pulse points which are behind your earlobes, upper sides of your palms and the right and left side of your neck. Rubbing wrists after spraying on perfume is not such a good idea because that ways you reduce the effect of the perfume. A great way of getting perfume on your entire body without emptying the bottle is to spray the fragrance into the air and walk through it.
Selecting the Fragrance
Smelling good is not only a way of making yourself more desirable for the opposite sex but it is a great way to enhance your personality too. Make sure you select a fragrance that talks a lot about the kind of person you are.
Dump the old ones
Over time, fragrances become stale. So, the minute you open your perfume bottle and you feel that the fragrance isn’t the same anymore, it’s time to get a new bottle.
