The Monsoon Month of August is also known as Shravan month, a holy month as per Hindu calendar. August month host some of the major Indian Festivals such as Krishna Janmashtami,Independence Day and Raksha Bandhan. These festivals are celebrated across the country.

* Hariyali Teej

The Hariyali Teej puja celebrated in many states of India by women,married and unmarried. Teej festival is a three-day-long festival, dedicated to the Goddess Parvati and one of the major monsoon festival of India.

* Nag Panchami
