Chaitra Navratri Festival 2018- Chant These Mantrs On 9 Days Of Navratri To Impress Maa Durga

According to Hindu Mythology, there are 9 forma of Maa Durga which are worshiped accordingly. Each day of 9 Days is devoted to on Goddess. Here are few Mantra for each day to impress Maa Durga and gain prosperity.

# Day 1: Mata Shailputri Mantra

Maa Shailputri is the First Form of Maa Durga. She is the Daughter of Himalaya. She is also known as “Parvati” and “Hemvati”

Dhyan Mantra: वन्दे वाञ्छितलाभाय चन्द्रार्धकृतशेखराम्। वृषारुढां शूलधरां शैलपुत्रीं यशस्विनीम्॥

# Day 2: Devi Brahmcharini Mantra

Maa Brahmcharini is the second form of Maa Durga, in this form she did hard penance(Tapasya) to get Lord Shiva as her Husband.

Dhyan Mantra: दधाना करपद्माभ्यामक्षमालाकमण्डलू। देवी प्रसीदतु मयि ब्रह्मचारिण्यनुत्तमा॥

# Day 3: Mata Chandrghanta Mantra

Maa Chandrghanta is the Third form of Maa Durga, This is the Married form of Maa Parvati.

Dhyan Mantra: पिण्डज प्रवरारूढ़ा चण्डकोपास्त्रकैर्युता। प्रसीदम तनुते महयं चन्द्रघण्टेति विश्रुता।।

# Day 4: Mata Kushmanda Mantra

Maa Kushmanda is the Fourth form of Maa Durga, It is believed that Maa Kushmanda Lives inside the Sun and enlightening the whole world by its ultimate energy.

Dhyan Mantra: वन्दे वांछित कामार्थे चंद्रार्घ्कृत शेखराम, सिंहरुढ़ा अष्टभुजा कुष्मांडा यशस्वनिम.

# Day 5: Devi Skanda Mantra

Maa Skanda Mata is the Fifth form of Maa Durga, It is the form of a Mother, when Maa Parvati became the Mother of Skanda also known as Kartikeya she gets the name Skanda Mata.

Dhyan Mantra: “सिंहासनगता नित्यं पद्माश्रितकरद्वया. शुभदास्तु सदा देवी स्कन्दमाता यशस्विनी."

# Day 6: Mata Katyayani Mantra

Maa Katyayani is the Sixth form of Maa Durga, The name Katyayani came due to her father Name Katyayan Rishi, this is the Violent form of Maa Durga, in this form she destroyed demon Mahisasur.

Dhyan Mantra: स्वर्णाआज्ञा चक्र स्थितां षष्टम दुर्गा त्रिनेत्राम्। वराभीत करां षगपदधरां कात्यायनसुतां भजामि॥

# Day 7: Mata Kalratri Mantra

Maa Kalratri is the Seventh form of Maa Durga, Kalratri is a furious form of Maa Durga, in this form she destroyed the most dangerous demons Shumbh and Nishumbha.

Dhyan Mantra: करालवंदना धोरां मुक्तकेशी चतुर्भुजाम्। कालरात्रिं करालिंका दिव्यां विद्युतमाला विभूषिताम॥

# Day 8: Maha Gauri Mantra

Maa Maha Gauri is the 8th form of Maa Durga, it is believed that up to the age of 16 the Maa Parvati was having extremely fair complexion, due to this reason she gets name Maha Gauri means “Ultimate fair”. On this day, we worship small girls.

Dhyan Mantra: पूर्णन्दु निभां गौरी सोमचक्रस्थितां अष्टमं महागौरी त्रिनेत्राम्।

# Day 9: Siddhi Datri Mantra

Maa Siddhi Datri is the 9th form of Maa Durga, it is believed that before the universe, Lord Shiva worshiped Para Shakti to get energy and to create the universe , she also the half part of Lord Shiva. She gave the Power to Lord Shiva and known as “Siddhi Datri”

Dhyan Mantra: स्वर्णावर्णा निर्वाणचक्रस्थितां नवम् दुर्गा त्रिनेत्राम्।शख, चक्र, गदा, पदम, धरां सिद्धीदात्री भजेम्॥
