Panchamukha Hanuman is the incarnation of Rudra or a Part of Lord Shiva, who’s thought to possess eleven rudras whatsoever. Since the son of Anjana, Hanuman is also referred to as Anjaneya. He’s god incarnate of might and intellect.

Shri Panchamukha Hanuman is one of the most essential upasana deity of the Guru Parampara. Ahiravana, the brother of Ravana, had kidnapped Rama and Lakshmana to the nether-world(Paathaala Loka) as hostages while both were sleeping during the nighttime.
The five faces of Hanuman are Garuda – facing the west, Varaha – facing the north, Hayagriva – facing the sky, Narasimha – facing the south and the fifth the original hanuman, facing the east. The Panchamukhi Hanuman has 10 arms holding ten different deadly weapons, including his own renowned weapon, the gada.
Panchamukhi form of Hanuman is adored all regions of India for safety from a variety of illnesses. The face towards the east is Hanuman’s original form, the monkey face(kapimukha), whose devotion removes all blemishes of one’s past deeds and confers purity of mind. Devotion to this face appeases Saturn too, and provides protection against its affliction.
The west-facing garudamukha pushes away evil charms, black magic effects and negative spirits, and also flushes out all of toxic effects from the human body. It keeps you protected from all problems and miseries caused by the spouse.
The north-facing varahamukha averts bad effects due to by the negative influences of planets harmfully located in one’s birth chart (kundli) and confers all eight kinds of prosperity (ashta aishwaryas). This mukha also offers relief from miseries generated by the planet Rahu.
