Blackheads are a common issue for all skin types. The best way to keep blackheads and whiteheads at bay is by keeping your pores clean. Exfoliating your skin regularly removes dirt and dead skin accumulated in pores. There are still some deeply rooted blackheads that cannot be simply removed by cleansing. These can be extracted through a blackhead extracting tool or pore strips. Pore strips are the easiest and inexpensive method to remove blackheads in minutes.
You can easily buy blackhead removing pore strips from the store but these can be easily made at home using all natural ingredients. There are many ways to make your own peel-off blackhead strips at home. Here are two easy DIY pore strip methods for blackheads:
# Gelatin Pore Strip
What you need:
1 tbsp of unflavoured gelatin powder
1 tbsp of milk
What to do:
Mix equal parts of gelatin powder and milk in a small bowl. Mix until the gelatin is completely dissolved and a thick mixture is formed. You can use warm milk or warm the mixture in a microwave for about 20 seconds. Allow the mixture to cool before you apply on your face.
Before you apply the mask, properly cleanse your face to remove dirt and oil. Apply the paste on areas of your face you want to remove blackheads from. Use your fingers or a brush to apply the mixture. Let it sit until it completely dries. To remove the mask, gently peel off the corner and peel off. Rinse your face with water.
# Egg White Pore Mask
Egg white is an effective way to tighten and clean your pores. It naturally shrinks your pores and has a tightening effect on the skin. Egg white is a natural ingredient for making a peel-off mask for blackheads and large open pores.
What you need:
One egg
Paper towel
Lemon juice (optional)

Soak the paper towel in egg white mixture and place it on your nose. Make sure your skin is dry and free from makeup. Gently press the paper to stick it to the skin. Leave it on for 10 minutes until the paper has completely dried. Once dried, peel it off slowly. Rinse with water and use a light oil-free moisturizer.
