1. Vinegar
Rinse your hair with vinegar. Add one-fourth to one cup of vinegar to a cup of warm water. Apply this to your hair after you've rinsed off your shampoo. Rinse off again to remove the smell of vinegar from your hair. You'll get shiny, bouncy straight hair in minutes.
2. Oiling
Pollution of all kinds, dirt, dust and the extreme heat can play havoc with your hair. Use natural hair oil more often to take care of your tresses. Avoid washing your hair with hot water as this can lead to hair breakage and hair loss.
3. Banana and Honey
Get hold of a ripe banana and mash it in a bowl. Add a teaspoon or two of honey to the mixture. Blend it and use the mixture like a mask on your hair. Don a shower cap and keep the mixture on your hair for around twenty minutes. End the experiment with a usual shampoo and conditioning regime for smoother, silkier hair.
4. Bottle Gourd
Bottle gourd might not be your favorite vegetable, but this vegetable works wonders for your hair. Blend a medium-sized bottle gourd and strain the mixture to get the juice. Add some amla powder and natural hair oil (sesame, olive or coconut) to the bottle gourd juice. Massage the mixture on your hair from roots to tips. Leave it on for an hour and wash off gently with a natural shampoo. Bottle gourd juice can be directly massaged on to the scalp. You'll have shiny, bouncy hair soon.
5. Lemon
Mix a few drops of lemon juice to lukewarm natural hair oil and massage it with your fingertips on to the scalp. Being rich in Vitamins A, B and C, lemon juice not only boosts hair growth, but also makes it more soft and silky.
