* Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple Cider Vinegar is a good way to clean out your hair easily and manages the pH levels of your scalp. It also improves the quality of hair and makes it shinier.Dilute equal parts of apple cider vinegar and water and store it in a spray bottle. Use this on your hair while you focus on the roots and massage it gently. Cover your hair with a shower cap and let the apple cider vinegar get soaked into your hair for at least 20 minutes. Wash it off with cold water and let it dry naturally.
* Baking Soda
A cheap and easy home remedy is baking soda to clean out dirt, grime, and grease from any type of hair. It acts as a natural scrub and can be used in hair masks. You can always add 1 tbsp of baking soda to your shampoo to act as a cleanser.Make a paste of 2 tbsp of baking soda with water and few drops of your favorite essential oils and aromatic fragrances. Use this as a scrub and massage it into your hair and scalp well. Let it dry and wash it with gentle movements so as to not damage your hair roots.
* Cucumber and Lemon
Since lemons are acidic in nature they are a good option to remove grime and leftover hair products. Cucumbers are natural hair conditioners that helps balance out the acidic nature of lemon juice in hair masks.Squeeze the juice from a medium sized lemon and shred one medium-sized cucumber and collect its juice as well. Mix the juices and store it in a bottle for use. Use this mixture on your hair and scalp regularly by massaging it gently into your hair. You can also use it as a dry spray and shampoo it off.
* Green Tea
Other than drinking it, green tea is also beneficial to your hair. Loaded with antioxidants and amino acids, green tea is a natural cleanser. It promotes hair growth and shine. Both green and black tea are good home remedies for good hair.Make 1 cup of both green and black tea and mix it. Let it cool down and add 1 tbsp lemon juice to it. Fill a spray bottle and spray it over your roots. Massage it in your hair deeply with your fingers and spray more. Don on a shower cap and let it stay for 20-25 minutes. Wash your hair with cold water and let it dry naturally.
* Multani Mitti
Since Multani mitti also known as Fuller’s earth has naturally absorbent properties that suck away excessive oils and helps clear out products from your hair and scalp. It also keeps your hair soft and easily manageable.Take half a cup of multani mitti and add apple cider vinegar to make into a thick paste. In this add 2-3 drops of lemon juice and apply this on your scalp like a hair mask. Let it air dry and then wash it off in cold water and let your hair dry out. You can shampoo your hair later if needed.
