# Make Olive oil & cocoa butter lip balm at Home
Take 1 tbsp of olive oil in a bowl and add 1 tsp of cocoa butter to it. Now place it on a double boiler and let the cocoa butter melt. Once the butter is completely melted, add some honey to the mixture and combine all three ingredients nicely. Remove the mixture from the heat and then allow it to cool overnight. Keep it in a container and store in the refrigerator to avoid melting. Your lip balm is ready to use! Scrap some rosy pink blush (or whichever is your favorite) and add to the balm for a beautiful tinted lip balm.
# Make Coconut oil & honey lip balm at Home
Take 1 tbsp grated beeswax and melt down in a double boiler. When almost half of the beeswax is melted, add 1 tbsp coconut oil and some honey and blend together. Add few drops of vitamin E oil to it. Remove the mixture from double boiler and pour in a container & let it cool. Your lip balm is ready.
Coconut oil will moisturize your lips deep down and honey will retain the moisture. Vitamin E oil is full of anti oxidants that will keep your lips healthy.
# Make Petrolium jelly lip balm at Home
Take some petroleum jelly in a bowl and heat it up in a microwave or using a double boiler. Now remove the bowl from the heat and add some color. Tint the petroleum jelly by adding a pinch of your favorite blush or eye shadow. Flavor your lip balm by mixing a few drops of orange oil or vanilla extract. Put the bowl in the fridge and let the mixture cool down. That’s it.
# Make Aloe vera gel lip balm at Home
Take 5-6 tbsp of olive oil or coconut oil in a mixing bowl and add 3 tbsp of aloe vera gel to it. Mix well the two ingredients. Add some color. A pinch of your favorite eye shadow or blush can be added to tint the lip balm. Now combine everything together. Pour the mixture in a container and place it in the refrigerator. Let it set for as long as you can.
Olive oil will repair your dry cracked lips and make them super moisturized. Aloe vera gel is a natural moisturizer.
# Make Strawberry lip balm at Home
Strawberry flavor is the most popular of all the lip balm flavors. Take 2 very ripe strawberries and mash them. Add honey to it. Next add 1 tsp of any cold cream to the strawberry and honey mixture and mix well. In a double boiler, melt 3-4 spoons of beeswax and add the previously prepared mixture. Combine everything together. Be careful that the beeswax should not be too hot, otherwise the cream will split. Remove the mixture from heat and let it cool.
# Make Lemony lip balm at Home
Take 2 tbsp each of coconut oil and olive oil in a bowl. To it, add 2 tbsp of chopped beeswax and 5-6 drops of lemon essential oil (you can use other essential oils of your choice). Place the mixture in a double boiler and stir it until the entire thing melts down. Tint your lip balm by adding a pinch of your favorite blush. Mix well. Remove the mixture from heat and allow it to cool.
Coconut oil and olive oil will soften and moisturize the lips, and essential oil will add a nice aroma to the balm.
