All of these recipes call for fresh pumpkin, but canned works well, too and is much more convenient. Just make sure there are no added ingredients. I think these recipes are perfect for fall. So, here we are sharing some simple pumpkin face masks for glowing skin.
* To cure damage caused by UV rays
The high amount of antioxidants present in oats helps in treating the damage caused by the harmful UV rays of the sun and pollution. Oats are also considered as an excellent cleanser because it contains a compound saponin that effectively removes oil and dirt from the skin. While the honey present in this mask helps in maintaining the moisture of your skin and tightening the skin pores.
Ingredients needed:
Honey- few drops
Oats (grounded)- 1 tablespoon
Pumpkin pulp- 2 tablespoons
Method:
- First, take a bowl and add 1 tablespoon of oat with 2 tablespoons pumpkin pulp and few drops of honey.
- Mix them well to form a smooth paste.
- Now, apply this paste to your face and massage for a while.
- Then, let it sit for 15 minutes and wash off.
* For skin lightening
Raw milk is considered as the best ingredient for skin lightening as it is loaded with lactic acid, proteins, and minerals that help in skin lightening. Besides this, it also helps in retaining the moisture of your skin and prevents dryness.
Ingredients needed:
Raw milk- 1/2 teaspoon
Pumpkin pulp- 2 tablespoons
Honey- 1/2 teaspoon
Method:
- Take a bowl and mix 1/2 teaspoon of honey with 2 tablespoons pumpkin pulp and 1/2 teaspoon raw milk.
- Now, apply this mixture to your face.
- Leave it on for 15 minutes. Make sure you cover the neck area too.
- Then, wash your face with warm water.
* For lightening dark spots
Lemon is a natural ingredient that contains a high amount of vitamin C with bleaching properties that can help in reducing dark spots and brightening your skin.
Ingredients needed:
Vitamin E capsules- 2- 3
Pumpkin pulp- 1 tablespoon
Lemon juice- Few drops
Method:
- Take a small bowl and add 1 tablespoon of pumpkin pulp with few drops of lemon juice.
- Now, mix them well and add the extract of 2 vitamin E capsules.
- And again, blend the mixture and apply the mask to your face. (Make sure you clean your face with normal water)

- Take a bowl and mix 2 teaspoons of gram flour with 1 tablespoon of pumpkin pulp.
- Now, wash your face with plain water and apply the mask to your face.
- Then, leave it on for 15-20 minutes.
- You can also cover your eyes with cucumber slices.

Honey- 1 tablespoon
Pumpkin puree- 2 tablespoons
Cinnamon powder- 1 tablespoon
Milk- 1 tablespoon
Method:
- Mix 2 tablespoons of pumpkin puree with 1 tablespoon of honey, 1 tablespoon of milk, and 1 tablespoon of cinnamon powder.
- Apply this mixture to your skin and leave it on for 20 minutes.
- Then, wash off your face with lukewarm water.
