For this recipe, you can mix 2/3 cup of either jojoba oil or grapeseed oil with 1/3 cup of borage oil. Next, add in five drops of ONE of the following essential oils: lavender, peppermint, orange, or rosemary oil. Rub this oil wherever you have oily skin. It is okay to use this moisturizer on your face as well, just try not to get it in your eyes or mouth.
# Soft Skin
If you want to have soft skin, try this recipe. Simply mix equal parts of shea butter and coconut oil (solid form) in a small container. Then, add five drops of lavender oil for each cup of moisturizer. Use this moisturizer on your legs, arms, and face to have smoother skin. For the best use, apply this moisturizer after shaving.
# Treat Acne
For this recipe, mix 2/3 cup of either argan oil, jojoba oil, grapeseed oil, or sweet almond oil with 1/3 cup evening primrose oil. Next, add in five drops of either lavender or rosemary oil. # Treat Other Blemishes
If you have facial blemishes, other than acne, then try this recipe. Mix 1/2 cup of jojoba oil and a teaspoon of vitamin E (this can be obtained by breaking open vitamin E supplement pills). Then, add in five drops of tea tree oil. Apply this oil mixture on your blemishes with a cotton ball. Use this no more than three times a day to get the best results.
# Anti-Aging Moisturizer
To make aging skin look younger, try this recipe. Mix 2/3 cup of either argan oil, jojoba oil, apricot kernel oil, coconut oil (liquid form), or avocado oil. Next, add in 1/3 cup of either seat buckthorn oil, rosehip seed oil, or emu oil. Last, but not least, add in five drops of rose, ylang-ylang, or rose geranium oil. Use this oil mixture as you would use any other anti-aging serum.
# Treat Wrinkles
One simple way to treat wrinkles is to use a mixture of honey and water. All you have to use it mix one part honey with four parts water. This should make a paste. Rub this paste on and around your wrinkles. Once the paste dries, rinse it off with warm water. It is best to use this home remedy before bed.
# Treat Scars or Damaged Skin
Whether you have scarring due to to a cut or acne, this recipe will be able to help. Mix 2/3 cup of hemp seed oil or coconut oil (liquid form) with 1/3 cup of either tamanu oil or rosehip seed oil. Lastly, add five drops of chamomile or palmarosa oil. Use this on your scars two or three times a day, every day, to see results.
# Treat Cracked Feet/Heels
If you have cracked feet or other injuries on your feet, then you can try out this recipe to get relief. Mix 1/2 cup of coconut oil (solid form) with four tablespoons of aloe vera gel. Lastly, mix in ten drops of lavender essential oil. Once this mixture is mixed thoroughly, rub it on your feet and put on socks (so the lotion does not leave your feet). It is best to do this right before bed so you can sleep with this mixture on your feet.
# Sun Protection
To protect your skin from the sun, you can make a moisturizer our of equal parts olive oil and sesame oil. While this may sound more like a salad dressing than a beauty product, it still works! This works best when treating sunburn. It should be noted that you will still need to wear sunscreen.
