Blanca Little Red Dress Was The Hottest Cheat On Golden Globes 2018

On a night where women had agreed to all dress the same, publicists knew exactly what they would need to do to make their clients stand out.

But would anyone actually do it? Would anyone actually break the all-black unofficial dress code of the 2018 Golden Globes red carpet? The dress code set by Time's Up, the 300-strong group of influential women formed in response to the entertainment industry's sexual harassment scandal?

Actress Blanca Blanco is certainly not a household name, but she has managed to make it onto most reports of the red carpet due to her decision to attend the Golden Globes in a red Atria Couture gown.

It isn't the first time Blanco, 36, has attracted controversy on the red carpet.

She made headlines last year when she appeared to have a wardrobe malfunction on the Oscars red carpet, while wearing a hip-height split dress.

Blanco was one of three female attendees who did not wear black.

German model Barbara Meier justified her choice in an Instagram post before the event, saying she wanted to "dress up a little more sexy" and arguing – in an apparent misunderstanding of the black dress code – that not doing so "because some men can't control themselves" was "a huge step back in [her] opinion".
