PICS- Bollywood Stars Gather For Special Screening Of Simmba

Last night, Rohit Shetty held a special screening of his film Simmba in Mumbai. The screening was attended by Hrithik Roshan, Sussanne Khan, Waheeda Rehman, Asha Parekh and Salim Khan who came along with wife Salma and Helen. Going by the smiles on their faces while they were exiting the screening, one can easily make out that even they liked the roar of Simmba like the rest of us.

Simmba which stars Ranveer Singh, Sara Ali Khan, Sonu Sood, Ashutosh Rana in lead roles has been already declared a hit at the box office. Within just five days of its release the film has not just crossed the coveted Rs 100 crore mark in India but also collected Rs 200 crore at the global box office.

Now that Simmba is such a huge success we wonder if Rohit Shetty and Ranveer Singh will keep their promise of making Simmba 2 (if Simmba is a hit) which they made at the trailer launch of the film.

Simmba which is stated to be a full on masala entertainer had cameos of Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar. While we got to see a few glimpses of Ajay in the trailer, Akshay’s cameo was a total surprise package. The flick is a remake of 2015 Telugu blockbuster ‘Temper’. Produced by Karan Johar, the movie is a solid, well-packaged entertainer with a powerful message.
