'Brahmastra Part One: Shiva,' the cinematic creation featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, marked its one-year anniversary since its release yesterday. To commemorate this milestone, Alia took to Instagram and shared endearing behind-the-scenes moments from the film's shooting.
The 'Heart of Stone' actor posted a video featuring the film's director, Ayan Mukerji, and her co-star Ranbir Kapoor. The video included snippets of significant "First" moments such as the 'First Look,' 'First Trip,' and 'First Schedule Wrap.' It also showcased Alia practicing a sequence from the film with Ayan. Additionally, the video featured mushy moments shared by Ranbir and Alia, highlighting their love story that blossomed on the sets of 'Brahmastra.' Alia humorously revealed that Ranbir dislikes the rain sequence. She captioned the post with heartfelt sentiments, saying, "A piece of our hearts... Can’t believe it’s already been a wholeeeee year. Love & Light always."
Recently, Ayan shared intriguing concept artwork for 'Brahmastra – Part Two: Dev.' He posted a concept video and shared, "BRAHMĀSTRA - PART TWO: DEV. Early Concept Artwork. It has been a few months of working steadily on the Vision and Story for Brahmāstra 2 & 3! On this special day for Team Brahmāstra, felt like sharing a few key images of our Inspiration #brahmastra2 #DEV."
The video provided a glimpse of a potential battle between Amrita and Dev, with Shiva possibly joining the fray. Ayan's post prompted an enthusiastic response from his fans and followers, who filled the comment section with heart and fire emojis, expressing their excitement for the upcoming parts.
'Brahmastra Part One: Shiva' is the inaugural installment of the planned trilogy set in the Astraverse by Ayan Mukerji. The film also features Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni in pivotal roles. The narrative of 'Brahmastra' follows Shiva, a DJ who discovers his extraordinary connection to the element of fire and his ability to wield the Brahmastra, a supernatural weapon with the potential to reshape the universe.
Adding to the intrigue, Junoon, the queen of dark forces, is determined to acquire the Brahmastra for her own purposes. The first part included a cameo by Shah Rukh Khan, while reports suggest that the second part will feature Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. The development of the Astraverse in the sequels is a subject of great anticipation.
'Brahmastra Part One: Shiva' garnered positive responses from audiences and amassed over Rs 425 crore gross worldwide at the box office. Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt continues to enjoy the success of 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' and is set to appear in 'Jee Le Zaraa' alongside Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra.
