Disha Patani To Rock A Helen Avatar In Salman Khan’s Bharat

Salman Khan’s 2019 Eid bonanza ‘Bharat’ is coming together piece by piece as Ali Abbas Zafar helms the period drama that spans across 60 years, starting from 1947 to 2000s. With Khan in the lead to be donning five different looks, co-actor Disha Patani is to portray the role of his love interest in the film.

It was until recently that the makers announced Priyanka Chopra’s exit due to personal reasons and roping in Katrina Kaif as her replacement. On the other hand, reports suggest that Disha who is to be playing a trapeze artist in the film is expected to rock a Helen inspired look for one of the eras.

Salman’s sister Alvira Agnihotri and stylist Ashley Rebello are personally picking looks for Disha Interestingly, Ali had recently spoken to Mumbai Mirror and had mentioned about Salman and Disha’s circus sequence which will also mark their introductory scene in the film. He said, “The idea is to create an Indian-Russian circus like Raj Kapoor’s Mera Naam Joker. Performers from all over the world are flying down for the circus tricks which will be a mix of trapeze hoops and rope stunts. This is Salman and Disha’s introduction. He plays a daredevil stunt motorcyclist in the circus while she is a trapeze artiste. Salman and Disha will go through a metamorphosis through the course of the film.”
